First Quarterly CLC Meeting
The Cagayan Library Consortium (CLC) successfully held its first quarterly meeting on February 3, 2026, at the CPLRC Conference Room, with 22 member institutions in attendance. The meeting was also attended by the MCNP-ISAP Chief Librarian – Ms. Merlie M. Narag, RL,MLIS, representing the institution in the consortium’s planning and collaborative discussions. The session focused on outlining and coordinating the consortium’s major programs and activities for the year.

Key agenda items included upcoming initiatives such as the Online Resources Orientation, the 4th Librarians Summit cum Book Fair, and the Product Demonstration for the acquisition of online resources. Members also discussed plans for the Book Fair aimed at strengthening print collections, as well as preparations for PANAGYAMAN: CPLRC’s 72nd Anniversary.

Further discussions covered the SED topics scheduled for the year and the consortium’s resource-sharing commitments, particularly the databases to be pledged by member institutions. The group also worked on drafting the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to further enhance collaboration among CLC members. Updates on potential Caygandang Alamin guest speakers were likewise shared to ensure more engaging and meaningful activities. Overall, the meeting marked a productive and promising start to the year, reinforcing collaboration among members and reaffirming the consortium’s shared commitment to advancing library services and learning opportunities throughout Cagayan.
